My name is Gerardo Santiago Ramos. I'm usually a quiet person that only speaks when spoken to or has a question of a current subject. Despite this, I tend to be very sociable when approached by other people. And some of my character traits are generosity, loyalty, self-control among others. In the matter of the things that I love there are several like drawing, watching series and movies, but most of all I love animals in specifically reptiles. Some of my favorite species are the Black Mamba, American alligator, Saltwater crocodile, and the Burmese pythons. In my opinion, they are some of the most beautiful creatures on the world. Reptiles are on the first spot in the things that I love but second, comes drawing. My usual drawing is based around monsters but they also include some animals or mythical creatures. I take an average of 4 to 6 hours per drawing. Even if its hard work it leaves behind a feeling of success. In the topic of series and movies, I like them but the passion isn't as great in comparison

 

     My ikigai was for me very easy to find since I wanted to study animals all the way back when I was 10 and I still do. And this passion made me start investigating people that studied animals and I turned out with herpetology. Which was the science that studies the animals that I love the most reptiles. The moment I saw this I immediately knew that this was the profession that I wanted to spend my life on. What I'm trying to say is that it wasn't hard at all for me to find my ikigai I love animals, snakes, alligators, lizards, nature, the forest, mountains and I want the world to see and respect all of it the same way I do. And the job that is going to help me do this is herpetology. In relation to the class, I would like to add that I'm not particularly good at writing or writing and that I tend to have some difficulty with technology. That is all I have to say about myself.
